What’s new with Papertree Design?

∼ June, 02 08 ∼

An update is necessary, as I have some great projects in the works. For starters I have been racking my brain for several weeks trying to revive AS|ONE Clothing and it’s tattered website. Unfortunately I feel like things started to fall off a bit when I began pushing to get Papertree Design rolling in the right direction but I am pleased to announce that the initial draft of the AS|ONE redesign has taken shape and looks amazing. It’s going to be quite an undertaking as I try to rope some elements back in an condense the overall website but it will be well worth the wait. What I am looking to do is transfer the entire existing website to the WordPress platform. That means everything from static pages to ecommerce functionality. Cubecart has been an outstanding ecommerce platform up to this point, but as the company looks to shift focus over the coming months I feel that it might be a bit more than we need. None the less working with Cubecart has proven to be a great learning experience and I would be more than happy to work with you to develop your eCommerce solution. Anyhow so that is a project well under way, stay tune for an update and an addition to the portfolio.

I have also continued to broaden my knowledge and expand my service offering to new and existing clients. Print is something that I design for on occassion and I will be adding that to the list quite soon as I set to launch a new page within the confines of Papertree. Here you will see an expanded portfolio to include some examples of work I have done in the areas of logo design, identity packages, product design and catalog design. Top of the list, business card design, can’t help my attraction to a good looking business card.

Last but certainly not least I have revived the plan for creating Stencil Magazine and even have some great ideas for Blindside Graphix so be on the lookout for future posts covering the details of both.

Oh and of course I am always welcoming new clients so feel free to contact me with your exciting ideas for the web!
